Babe! Seeing you in these pics makes me miss you so much! Thank you so much for posting photos. They really are very pretty--even Miss Tarantula. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how excited I was to spot that spider! I'd been hoping to show Di one in the wild. Last visit I was able to show her a coyote AND a roadrunner, the existence of both which she kind of doubted. :)
DeleteYour pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laoch! I took them all with my Samsung mobile phone, if you can believe it. It's got a great camera, though the resolution is not fabulous. You can't really tell unless you blow 'em up, though.

ReplyDeleteI got to chat with Di a bit at the fire pit. She is "good people." Today, the music faculty at CNM recorded a KHFM radio "Life sounds BETTER here!" blurb and that was fun. Also, Eric and I had drinks and dinner this evening at Artichoke Cafe before hearing Gavin's orchestra play at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
ReplyDeleteThat all sounds so lovely! Did you have an actual artichoke at the Artichoke? I used to love their lemon-caper aioli, back when I could tolerate eggs. The raspberry vinaigrette is very nice, too.
DeleteSo glad you got to have a proper chat with Di!
I've been missing you and New Mexico ever since I got back. If anyone ever doubts that social media doesn't really enhance your life, or says that Facebook friends aren't ''real'' friends, I shall show them this. You are definitely high up in my own list of happy-making things.
ReplyDeleteAh, you've started chopping those damn onions AGAIN ... :}
