So hey, this was my first blog post done entirely by mobile phone: can you tell? I was going to expand on what I was thinking as I stared at that bit of pavement, but Blogger is arguing with me. So I'm just going to let the photo stand.
I find it encouraging. I have made a study of philosophy and Cher once said:"If grass can grow through cement, love can find you at every time of your life." There is no valid refutation.
Yes! I can hear it! :) I definitely am not discouraged, I am just a little bit disgusted. For no good reason. It's just an automatic "eesh" reaction. My bromeliad is trying to bloom right now and it, too, is kind of grossing me out. It's not the normal pretty bromeliad flower; it's got these yellow wormy things coming out (but they are definitely flora and not fauna).
Mostly when life bursts forth it is glorious. But occasionally it's kind of. Well. Zitty.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if that means we will find life deep in the cracks of mars?
ReplyDeleteWouldn't that be SO COOL? And there are some intriguing moons in our solar system, too ...
DeleteImpressive.
ReplyDeleteEspecially considering that at photo time, we'd had no rain in weeks!

ReplyDelete"I have made a study of philosophy and Cher once said..." This is the best thing I have read all day. :)
DeleteThat's not discouraging... it's totally COOL! It says, "Never give up!" (Don't you hear it???)
